1970 | Cadillac Sedan DeVille

This Cadillac Hardtop Sedan DeVille from 1970 is a low milage survivor, garage kept, 2nd owner car that was first bought and driven by Dr. Philip Fried from New York until 2016 and was then sold to me and shipped to Germany. Over the past years of ownership i restored the car as much as needed. The interior is completely original except the carpet. The leather is still soft and very thick. The original stereo was changed into a retrosound Radio that fits well into the astethics of the interior. It features DAB Radio, AUX In and Stereo speakers in the front and back. Everything from the electrical options works. Power 6-way Bench Seat, Power Windows, Power door locks etc.

Mechanically the engine, breaks and suspension received a complete overhaul (see the video for details). The car ran since this overhaul round about 3000 mls / 5000 Km. The engineblock is bored, honed and milled and also equipped with a new street performance cam, Edelbrock intake, pistons, all new bearings, gearchain, lifter and pushrods as well as valvesprings, all gaskets are replaced, the original Rochester Carb is also completely overhauled. The Powerincrease is noticable but not aggressive. The car has no issues with taking over the traffic. Everything happens with ease.

There are much more parts that have been swapped into new ones but its to much to list here. Everything that has been changed is documented.

ALL original parts are still with me and stored dry and warm. The car can be put in its original form. The Airconditioning parts are in good shape.

Additionally i´d like to mention that the car was repainted to its original color "Byzantine Gold". The original paint didn´t held its glory anymore. For this, the old paint was completly taken down to the metal. The vinyl top though is still intact and original to the car.
