The Bentley Continental GT is a car that has been turning heads ever since its introduction. It appeals to a large customer base and has a loyal fan following. The Continental GT was introduced in 2003, exactly twenty years ago, and to be honest, it doesn't show its age. It's a luxury GT car in a very high segment where only a few automakers were operating at that time.

Under the hood, there's a powerful 560 horsepower 6.0-litre W12 engine, coupled to a six-speed automatic ZF transmission. In the following years, several special editions were released, and in both 2005 and 2008, minor updates were made, including adjustments to the equipment, lighting elements, and bumpers.

At the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, Bentley unveiled the Continental Supersports, a limited edition presented by Jay Leno. The Supersports was the first Bentley that can run on both petrol and biofuel (E85 ethanol). The result is an impressive 630 horsepower (at 6,000 rpm) and a massive torque of 800 Nm (between 1,700 and 5,600 Nm). As a result, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 330 km/h! This made the Supersports the fastest and most powerful Bentley ever produced at that time. The updated automatic transmission features a quickshift system that reduces shift times by 50%, and the car is equipped with a Torsen T-3 differential that distributes power to the wheels, with 40% going to the front axle and 60% to the rear axle.

The enormous 20-inch wheels complete the exterior look, and behind them, you'll find huge ceramic brakes. In addition to many other options, the rear seats are absent, and a thick carbon torsion bar has been installed behind the front seats.

This stunning black Supersports with a black interior and black wheels is in truly fantastic condition. With only 73,480 kilometres on the odometer, it can only be expected that this Bentley is in perfect condition, and that applies to everything: the exterior, the interior, and, of course, the mechanics. This Continental was first registered in 2010 and has since enjoyed a rich and luxurious life, as evidenced by the official dealer stamps in the original maintenance books. It's a beautifully assembled and well-maintained example.

The black-painted body looks sinister with the black details, dark chrome window frames and trim strips, and, of course, the black grille that is characteristic of this model. The massive wheels are free from any damage, and the Pirelli tires are of the correct type and size.

The interior of the Continental Supersports is phenomenal. Beautiful materials, including leather, aluminium, carbon fibre, Alcantara, and exquisite finishing, make it truly unique. The black upholstery with white stitching looks pristine, as goes for the entire interior. The carbon panels, which are genuinely Bentley, are in mint condition and free of scratches. Furthermore, the car is equipped with every imaginable luxury feature, including numerous options that are far from standard even in new cars.

Driving the W12 engine is an experience in itself. The roar of the twelve cylinders, the car feels incredibly solid and pleasantly heavy. The seats are simply amazing, and once you're on the road, the Supersports provides an immersive experience. The Bentley handles steering much more directly and nimbly than you would expect based on its size and the original concept of this comfortable GT. The Supersports is in a league of its own in every aspect.

Mechanically the Supersports is up-to-date, as evidenced by all the correct service stamps found in the maintenance booklet, which is present in the original leather wallet along with the instruction book. The car has been exclusively maintained by the dealer and specialists. It has a Dutch license plate and is ready for incredibly fantastic journeys, whether comfortably cruising to the sun, passionately embarking on sporty trips, or, according to Bentley, even proving itself on the circuit. As for us, looking at the beauty of this car, we would limit ourselves to experiencing its capabilities. What a car!
