Description

The Bentley Brooklands is a coupe version of the Bentley Arnage. As a hand-assembled car made in very small numbers, employing traditional coachbuilding techniques and craftsmanship skills in wood and leather, the Brooklands Coupe is the true successor to the discontinued Bentley Continental R and T. Lifetime production was planned for 550 cars, and deliveries started in the first half of 2008 but due to economic uncertainty only 426 were ever produced with just 105 right hand drive examples. The Brooklands is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 530hp and 774 lbft, the highest torque ever developed by a production V8 petrol engine. It can achieve 0-60 miles per hour in around 5.0 seconds, and a top speed in the region of 183mph and the new Brooklands offered more stopping power than any other passenger vehicle currently available for purchase.

Finished in metallic Silver Tempest with Portland over Anthracite quilted Mulliner Specification leather with embossed headrests, this truly stunning low mileage example of the desirable Brooklands Coupe was first registered on 7th March 2008 and was the very car that Jeremy Clarkson cooed over on an episode of TopGear in Series 11. Offered in 'as new condition' with Naim sound system, for Bentley the interior of these superb cars is an area of beauty, with great ergonomics, leather trim in abundance and burr walnut wood in plentiful supply. Presented with three sets of keys, a full book back displaying 12 services with Bentley main dealers, a further three with a renowned specialist and the last with Stratton in Norfolk at 11,890 miles. To be expected this car is faultless in every aspect. Supplied with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until November with no advisories (all MoTs since 2011 feature no advisories), a collection of service invoices and four Pirelli tyres with 6-7 mm of tread all round. To ride in a Bentley Brooklands is a memorable experience, to drive one takes it to a different level. One of the most collectable, stunning hand-built cars ever made by Bentley, this example is not only in the most desirable colour combination with a comprehensive history but also boasts a stunning low mileage.
