Description

The Aston Martin DB7 V12 GT model was launched in 2003 having had a new engineering team radically improve the handling and performance of the DB7. The damping and suspension set up were uprated and aerodynamic adjustments to the wheel arches were made to combat lift at high speeds. Another important change was reducing the un-sprung weight in the wheels and combining these changes and upgrades with a new engine map and exhaust system resulted in this becoming one of the best handling performance cars on the market in 2003.

This top-class six speed manual example has covered just 71000 miles from new and comes with a comprehensive history from new. The DB7 GT was supplied by Charles Hurst Ltd in Belfast on the 29th April 2003 and PDI inspected at 132 miles. The supplying dealer maintained the car and stamped the service book at 1569, 7432, 15729, 22967, 29571 and 33837 miles. Aston Martin Newport Pagnell then looked after the car with Works services at 41729, 45108 and 49183 miles. The next stamped service was with Aston Martin Bristol at 68521 miles.

Accompanying the original service book and manual is a file of service invoices, old logbooks, spare keys, and old MOT's. Within the last 1500 miles over £5000 has been spent on the DB7 GT to include a brand new clutch kit, fitted by marque specialists Aston Martin Workshop and a brand new radiator, air-conditioning re-gas and brand new headlining. Since then the Aston has been on a tour of the Scottish Highlands, used sparingly since then and now returns to us a couple of years on to be sold due to a re-location overseas. The Aston has also been detailed and is in stunning, showroom condition presenting with first class bodywork, paintwork, excellent wheels and retains a beautiful, largely original interior.

On the road this GT lives up to the hype, it's feels incredibly advanced in comparison to the early DB7's with impressive handling and performance from the V12 engine. The 6-speed manual transmission is rare to see and adds positively to the driving experience. This is a very rare car, just 302 examples of the DB7 GT were built, and only 84 came in RHD format. Finished in Black with Black leather, the car looks stunning and will not disappoint.
