Description
A unique opportunity to purchase this historic Alvis ‘works’ 10/30 with a fully documented competition history. Manufactured in February 1922 it carries the original Cross & Ellis Sports Tourer with Dickey coachwork. The car, which still retains all its original numbers along with the rare early ‘winged’ radiator badge, was campaigned with great success by Alvis works driver Jo Brown. His victories in 1922 alone totalled five gold medals in national trials events and first place in two hill climbs, including an F.T.D. The car is in excellent original condition and driving beautifully. There is an extensive file documenting the fascinating history of this remarkable Alvis.
