**Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1. 8

A fabulous, stunning example of a 116 series Giulietta, she has been chosen by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club to represent the model at the 2026 ‘Practical Classics’ Classic Car & Restoration Show, and can be seen at the NEC on stand 5-340 between 20th and 22nd March.

Sounding fantastic and running beautifully, the 1. 8-litre all alloy twin cam engine fed by two Dellorto side draught twin 40 carburettors makes this Giulietta a joy to drive.

I’ve owned this Giulietta for a few years, I’m now currently downsizing my car collection.

This particular example is LHD as it came from Rome at the end of 2016. I’m it’s second owner since importation. Due to the dry Italian climate this one is rust free and has NEVER been welded. Having a late manufacture date she sits on the 75 floor pan meaning you get the much improved Isostatic gear change.

After importation the previous owner took her to Alex Jupe Motorsport who carried out an extensive refresh including the following; full body Dinitrol wax protection, overhaul of the engine, transmission, and brakes. The work totalling £12300.

As you can see this Alfa Romeo Giulietta has had no expense spared maintenance.

Sporting refurbished 15 inch Alfetta GTV alloy wheels with nearly new Hankook tyres, she also comes with the original 13 inch alloys, refurbished and fitted with new Uniroyal Rain Sport tyres.

A huge A4 ring binder of history is included, containing the Italian import papers, all UK invoices and MOT’s, totalling over £27000.

In my ownership I have kept up the fastidious maintenance regime, never driven her in the wet and always cleaned and detailed her prior to return to storage.
