Entirely unrestored, completely original, exactly as it left the factory. That is rare. Truly rare. With matching numbers and a body by Carrozzeria Touring, this is a car you simply do not touch. It was delivered new in January 1950 in Paris and still wears its original French license plates. And not just any plates. One from 1950, and another still in place from 1964. A number you almost whisper when you say it: Rhône, département 69. Romantic, isn’t it?

And then there’s the story. This Alfa spent decades tucked away in a private French collection, in the hands of the same owner for nearly 50 years. A man who kept it hidden not for show, but out of genuine love for the car. In 2015, it was rediscovered in its untouched condition. People called it a Sensation, with a capital S. And rightly so.

It was then acquired by a well-known collector in the Lyon region. When that collection was sold in 2022, this Alfa was finally shown to the world for the very first time. And everyone agreed: this is exactly how you want to discover a classic.

The inline six with triple carburetors still has that signature silky smooth tone that Alfa Romeo was known for in that era. Seeing and hearing a car like this, in such original condition, is an experience in itself.
