The Porsche 964 holds a special place in the history of the 911. Developed in the late 1980s, it was conceived as the bridge between the classic air-cooled 911 and a new generation offering more comfort and modern technology, without losing its pure character. Our Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Targa was delivered new on 01/02/1990 to its first owner in Germany via Werksauslieferung, meaning the car was collected directly from the Porsche factory in Stuttgart. Over the years, the car has benefitted from a high-quality repaint from its original red color to a stylish period correct black paint. The car is very well specified with several desirable factory options, including the limited-slip differential (option code 220), which significantly improves traction and stability in corners. Enthusiasts who enjoy driving their 911 properly will immediately appreciate the difference. Further options include air conditioning, cruise control, seat heating on both sides, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, rear window wiper, amplifier, radio preparation and a tinted upper band in the windscreen.
