The VW T2b Westfalia is a symbol of freedom and adventure. As an evolution of the T2a, the T2b received numerous technical and visual upgrades from 1972 onwards, including larger taillights, reinforced bumpers, and improved ventilation. In the popular Westfalia version, it offered everything a 1970s camper needed: sleeping space, storage, and thoughtful functionality. According to the VW certificate, this VW T2b Westfalia was manufactured in Hannover and shortly thereafter, in October 1977, delivered to San Francisco. It is presented in the attractive “Taiga Green” color and comes with a traceable equipment history. With its pop-top roof, rotating windows, and front seat headrests, it remains an authentic classic camper. Additionally, a Thule awning, whitewall tires, wider steel wheels, TV, radio, and satellite dish have been retrofitted.
Under its current owner, the vehicle has been regularly serviced at specialist workshops in Germany, and a professional wax preservation has been carried out.
