A Volkswagen Beetle 1303 LS Fuel Injection Convertible with a retro look - partially restored to a high standard.
A VW Beetle convertible is and remains an "everybodys darling" From 1973 as the 1303, with a curved windscreen and the more modern chassis, the open-top crawler is certainly the most sophisticated variant and also offers pleasurable convertible enjoyment on the rear bench seat. This subtle retro-look conversion was based on a very well-preserved 1303 LS Cabrio from 1978. It came back from a sunny US state, so the body and floor assembly proved to be in perfect condition. The convertible also made a very solid and authoritative impression in terms of engine technology and driving.
The Beetle Convertible was completely dismantled, freed from rust film, painted to a high standard in dark blue MB 904 and expertly converted to a slightly older look with smaller rear lights and European bumpers.
For reassembly, new rear lights, new European bumpers, new rims with new tyres, new vehicle seals, a new windscreen, new window shaft strips and a new black carpet set were installed. This late VW Beetle convertible now combines the advantages of the fuel-injected engine and the improved driving characteristics of the late 1303 models with a more classic European look. Naturally, this beautiful open Beetle will be given a new TÜV and H licence plate approval before delivery.
