Saab 900 Turbo 16V Cabriolet 175 HP – A Well-Preserved Swedish Classic
This 1987 Saab 900 Turbo 16 Convertible is offered with historic registration and has recently undergone extensive mechanical servicing.
The engine and gearbox were replaced in 2006 at 190,000 km. The currently installed engine and gearbox have covered approximately 68,000 km since then. This replacement is documented in the German DEKRA system (in the last photo).
The vehicle successfully passed its historic vehicle inspection in May 2025. A new fabric convertible top has also been installed and is fully watertight.
In 2025, the car received comprehensive maintenance, including replacement of the engine oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid, fuel filter, coolant, and spark plugs. The starter motor was professionally rebuilt, the vacuum hoses were replaced, the air conditioning system was serviced, and the rear brakes were overhauled.
In June 2026, all accessory belts and the front brake pads were replaced as well as engine oil and filter. The vehicle is currently in excellent mechanical condition.
The car was used in Italy until 2009, when it was imported to Germany. From 2009 to 2025, it was carefully maintained and driven only during the summer season. The vehicle is currently registered in Lithuania.
Never driven during winter.
