Opis
The Silver Shadow represented a quantum leap for Rolls Royce, as it was the brand's first vehicle with a self-supporting body. Accordingly, it was something completely different in terms of appearance and technology to anything the brand had previously produced. The car was modern and drove like one, while retaining the elegance and quality of a Rolls Royce.
This example was produced on 24 October 1975 and delivered in Germany in the same year. As a late Series 1 model, it has the beautiful chrome bumpers, but is already equipped with the large 6.6-litre engine. In 2014, the car was imported to Austria, type-certified and handed over to its owner in Salzburg. He regularly invested in the vehicle to ensure that it met his high technical and visual standards. In 2018, the Silver Shadow moved to its current owner and continued to receive the care it deserved. Expertise on behalf of both owners as well as thick folders with invoices and various documents since 2007 testify to the seriousness with which the vehicle has been cared for.
Due to a lack of time, this beautiful example is now being sold and may give a new owner the sublime feeling that characterises a Rolls Royce.
