Finished in the original colour silver metallic combined with a black leather interior this magnificent 1996 Porsche 911 Targa remains in a superb and fully original condition! The 911 of the 993-model series is the final air-cooled Porsche 911 and therefore much sought after by enthusiasts and collectors.
This example was sold new to Tokyo Japan and sold to the first owner by Porsche representative Mitsuwa Motors. The car was first registered on 8 Juli 1996. The Japanese service booklet was completed from October 1997 until November 2005 (7649 up to 35885 kilometres). In a second booklet yearly services up to 2014 are recorded (in Japanese). Japanese service invoices are present from 2009 up to 2015 (odometer reading 44332 kilometres).
The invoices are all addressed to the same Japanese owner. In April 2020 this magnificent Porsche 911 was imported to the Netherlands. In June 2020 the car was given an extensive service at Porsche Centrum Twente with the odometer reading 45794. An inspection report and invoice are present. The next regular service was given in June 2024 with the odometer reading 64623. In the spring of 2025, the 911 Targa was brought to Lapaire Autospa for a full detailing job of the bodywork and the interior. The last MOT test was given in August 2025 with an odometer reading of 64698 kilometres.
This fantastic, air-cooled Porsche 911 (993) Targa is in a superb and optically near new condition! The car drives and handles perfectly! The electric glass ‘Targa’ top with the large sliding glass panel gives a delightful open top experience. When closed, an electrically operated black window blind keeps out the light when desired.
The car comes with the original Japanese service book and (drivers) manuals, a Dutch maintenance/ service book and a manual for the installed Porsche CDC-3 stereo system with CD changer. This Porsche 911 Carrera Targa 993 is a superb example with a low mileage. A completely original car which will appeal to the discerning Porsche enthusiast or collector alike.
