The Porsche 991 is the seventh generation of the Porsche 911. 991 is the internal production number that Porsche uses for the car that was unveiled on September 15, 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a replacement for the Porsche 997. The design was significantly changed, but there is still a clear link in design to the previous generations of 911. The first photos of the 991 were released by Porsche on August 23, 2011.[1] This seventh generation of the 911 was delivered to customers from 2012 to 2019.
The first generation of the 991 is also referred to as 991.1. The design update (from model year 2016) is referred to as generation 991.2.
Description
The direct-injection 3.8 liter Boxer engine of the previous model - the 997 S - was retained in the 991 S, with an increase in power to 400 hp. A new engine was developed for the "regular" Carrera: a 3.4 liter that delivers 350 hp. The car has a start/stop system and electromechanical power steering. Compared to the old 997, the wheelbase was extended by 100 mm; the total length of the car increased by 70 mm. By using very strong steel, aluminum and composite material, the total weight has been reduced by 45 kg.
This car is in our showroom in a very nice color. Brown metallic with a dark brown leather interior. It is equipped with the PDK gearbox and also has almost all accessories that are available.
Approximately 3000 km before, a major maintenance was carried out at an official Porsche dealer worth approximately € 5,000, - (this is available for inspection), during which everything was checked and / or replaced. So now there is a perfect Porsche waiting for you in our showroom.
