THE 993 CARRERA 4S
The Porsche 993 needs little introduction. As the final generation of the air-cooled 911, it combined the traditional character of the flat-six with a significantly more refined chassis and improved everyday usability.
The Carrera 4S brought together the wide Turbo body, naturally aspirated Carrera S engine and four-wheel drive, making it one of the most desirable variants of the 993 range.

This well-preserved Porsche 993 Carrera 4S was delivered new to Germany through Porsche's factory Tourist Delivery programme and is equipped with the desirable manual gearbox. Finished in Black Metallic over a black interior, it has remained in a classic and understated specification, complemented by options including a sunroof.
Following its German delivery, the car spent almost 25 years in France before subsequently arriving in Belgium. Throughout its life it has been consistently maintained, with the a replacement service book containing documented dealer stamps and a substantial collection of invoices and maintenance records.
The car currently shows 135,000 km from new. The odometer was replaced by Porsche in 2015 at 129,601 km, with the replacement documented in the history file. The car has covered relatively few kilometres since, and its overall condition is consistent with the care it has received throughout its life.
The bodywork has received a partial repaint at some point in its life, as is not uncommon with a black car. Today, the paintwork presents with a deep and even gloss, with some normal signs of use and stone chips consistent with regular road use. Importantly, the original front and rear panels remain fitted and retain their factory stickers and stamps.
The black leather interior has been well preserved, showing only light signs of use. The seats, dashboard, door panels, switches and trim all remain in very good condition.
Mechanically, the car has been regularly maintained and is fitted with the Motorsound exhaust together with a free-flow air filter, giving the naturally aspirated flat-six a particularly engaging and sporty character, with a more pronounced exhaust note and crisp throttle response. Recent work includes servicing and fluid replacement, attention to the rear spoiler motor, new tyres, air-conditioning maintenance and further preventive work.
The car is accompanied by its original leather pouch containing the owner's manuals, stamped reproduction service book, together with the toolkit, spare wheel, spare keys and a comprehensive history file.
With its wide-body configuration, naturally aspirated engine, four-wheel drive and manual gearbox, this Carrera 4S represents one of the most appealing configurations of the final air-cooled 911 generation. Its classic black-on-black specification, 135,000 km, documented history and largely original presentation make it a particularly attractive example.
