I'm selling an '84 NA 2+2 Nissan 300ZX Z31 in great condition for its age.
The car is located in Slovenia, near Ljubljana.
The Z has a valid technical until 1st October 2027, and a valid FIVA old timer registration until July 2029.
The car is on the road, running great and is in use - hence, the real mileage might be a bit higher.
The car is garage kept and used only in nice weather, mostly on weekends.
The list of things I did to the car in the last 2 years:
- new battery
- new spark plugs
- annual oil change (Eneos Pro 10w40), oil filter, and air filter replacement
- new transmission fluid (Eneos 75w90 GL5)
- new brake fluid
- brake repair
- underbody cavity protection
- new differential fluid (Eneos 75w90 GL5)
- new particle filter
- new headliner
- refreshed foaming in the front seats
- restored and cleaned wheels
- new alternator
- new timing belt
- 1 new ball joint (I think it's the front right one)
- New mass airflow (MAF) sensor
- New throttle position (TPS) sensor
- Replaced and repositioned the cylinder head temperature sensor (CHTS) and its harness to serve as the coolant temperature sensor; it is now located on the lower intake manifold on the driver’s side (this is a common weak point in the car and a modification made by many owners)
- All-new fuel system by Godzilla Raceworks (Pallnet injection rails, 195 cc Bosch EV6 injectors, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator) - https://www.godzillaraceworks.com/z31fuel/fuel-injector-rail-upgrade-kit-92rj3
- New, modern (but retro-looking) Pioneer car stereo with Bluetooth connectivity
- New Helix front and rear speakers (4)
- New fuel level sensor
- New rear spoiler (from an '87 model, hence fiberglass)
The previous owner did a paint job on the car and installed the wooden wheel and shifter. I can provide the original steering column and wheel as well (not the shifter).
The car runs great. It runs rich, which is normal for these VG30E engines. It doesn't have a cat.
The idle is around 1000 and stable.
There is a small oil leak from the rear main seal, but oil loss is minimal. I typically have to top it up just once a year (oil change is annual).
