I can hereby offer a particularly beautiful example from the Maserati Biturbo era: This 2.24v was first registered in Sassari on Sardinia on July 1st, 1992 and remained in family ownership (father/son) until 2008. With the next change of ownership, the car came to Palermo and from there to Austria in 2015, where it was registered to the current owner in 2016 after individual typing.
Nothing else is known about the Italian history. In Austria the 2.24v received every attention the car needed. In addition to the technical maintenance, the owner has created an extensive folder with important contacts and addresses of experts and suppliers so that this crisp-sounding and extremely sporty fun car can continue to serve its purpose of driving in the future. There are invoices from this time as well as many references to reports on the vehicle.
The car shows a few signs of its life in the form of scratches and clear coat chips, as shown in the photos. Rust is not an issue, and the technical condition is also perfect. Only recently a backup motherboard, which often causes displeasure with Biturbo, was exchanged for a replacement board from BiturBox. Since then the Maserati has been running 1. better and 2. always.
The speedometer reading is read, the condition inside suggests that it could be true. Even on the outside and especially below there is nothing to say that the 31,226 km could be correct. The car has probably never seen road salt as it was used as a fair-weather car in Austria.
