A rare opportunity to acquire one of Lotus’ most focused performance cars.
The Lotus 2-Eleven is a stunning example of lightweight engineering and motorsport heritage. A true driver’s machine, the Lotus 2-Eleven was introduced in 2007 as a track-focused evolution of the Lotus Exige, engineered to deliver the ultimate in lightweight performance and pure mechanical feedback. Developed by Lotus Motorsport, the 2-Eleven took Colin Chapman’s philosophy of 'simplify, then add lightness' to the extreme.
Weighing just 670kg and boasting over 250 horsepower from its supercharged 1.8L engine, the 2-Eleven offered supercar-rivaling performance in a minimalist, race-bred package.
356 cars were built during its four year production run at the Hethel factory in Norfolk. Intended as a track only car, Lotus did offer the option to buy a 2-Eleven in a road legal specification for the UK and Japanese markets.
The 2-Eleven presented here, designated as Build Number 260, is a track-only variant.
This example is finished in the excellent Starlight Black with a dominant central stripe in silver. The theme is continued with the carbon fibre seats featuring black TRS harnesses. Satin black Team Dynamics lightweight wheels complete the cars exterior visuals.
As a track only variant, the purposeful GT4 roll cage is fitted, as well as the larger front splitter for additional downforce, taken from the GT4 racer version of the 2-Eleven.
Having covered 14,150 miles, the car has been inspected and prepared for sale by the expert technicians at Hilton & Moss and will be supplied with a fresh service upon sale, ensuring the car is ready to take to the track straight away.
This fantastic 2-Eleven is ready for a new challenge, whether as a track day regular or simply to be enjoyed as a fast-road open sportscar.
Hilton & Moss are in the unique position to provide support for the new owner if desired, including track day preparations, track day support and transportation, as well as vehicle setup and upgrades.
