We are offering for sale a very attractive 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, widely regarded as the most desirable body style of the first-generation Mustang. Finished in timeless Wimbledon White with a red interior, this Mustang has a fresh, sporty, and classic appearance. This Mustang was factory-equipped with the dependable C-code 289 cubic inch V8 engine and a 2-barrel carburetor. Over the years, it has received several tasteful performance upgrades to improve both drivability and power. The engine now features an aluminum 4-barrel intake manifold paired with a 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently and produce noticeably improved performance. An electronic ignition system has also been installed, eliminating the need for point adjustments while providing a stronger spark, easier starting, and smoother operation.
The exhaust system has been upgraded with headers, improving exhaust flow and giving the 289 V8 a deeper and more aggressive sound. Combined with the other upgrades, this results in a Mustang that is both responsive and enjoyable to drive.
One of the most significant improvements is the upgraded power steering system. Instead of the original steering setup, this Mustang is equipped with a modern power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system. For added safety and driving confidence, this Mustang is also equipped with front disc brakes, offering improved stopping performance compared to the original drum brake setup.
