The Fiat 500 is one of the most iconic Italian cars of all time. Introduced in 1957 as an affordable and practical city car, the model became a symbol of Italian mobility and lifestyle. Thanks to its compact dimensions, simple engineering and charming design, the little Fiat became exceptionally popular. During its production period from 1957 to 1975, more than 3.8 million examples were built.

In 1968, Fiat introduced the 500 L, with the letter L standing for Lusso. This more luxurious version distinguished itself from the standard 500 F through a more refined interior, a more elaborate instrument panel, additional chrome trim and the characteristic protective bars surrounding the bumpers. The 500 L combined the familiar driving pleasure of the classic Fiat 500 with a more comfortable and sophisticated appearance.

Beneath the rear engine cover lies the well-known air-cooled 499 cc two-cylinder engine, originally producing approximately 18 hp and paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Its simple mechanical construction, low weight and compact dimensions make the Fiat 500 a particularly characterful classic car.

This 1970 example is finished in a classic green exterior colour and features an original interior showing normal signs of use. The vehicle remains in an older original condition and was repainted in the past. The inspection report mentions several points requiring attention regarding the bodywork, underside and lighting.
