1965 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage finished in Fiesta Red with a Perfect Black hide interior with best quality black Wilton carpet throughout and sitting on Perfect Chrome Wire Wheels with 3 eared spinners. Purchased by the current owner in 1993 it was regularly serviced by various specialists until 2008, after which it has been entrusted to Trinity Engineering in Surrey due to the proximity of the owner’s home. Over the past 14 years it has been treated to a complete refurbishment at eye watering cost and every invoice for this work has been diligently filed and is with the vehicle. The result is a 57-year-old Aston Martin that is probably now in finer condition than when it left the factory. Nothing has been left to chance and works have included a back to bare metal respray, a complete engine rebuild with an upgrade to 4.2 specification and a complete re-trim using best quality Vaumol hides. Due to the owner’s advancing years, it has also had a conversion to an automatic gearbox, purely for ease of driving. The box that has been used is a very efficient modern automatic gearbox which does not detract from the driving experience, but the 5-speed manual gearbox can be supplied with the car and fitted by us.
