Das Alpina B7 Turbo Coupé wurde 1978 vorgestellt und war damit der erste BMW 6er, der von Alpina modifiziert wurde. Hinter der markanten „Shark Nose“ steckte ein modifizierter 3,5-Liter-Reihensechszylinder, an den ein Turbo angeschraubt war, der die Leistung auf für damalige Verhältnisse erstaunliche 330 PS brachte.
Der B7 war mit einem eng übersetzten Fünfganggetriebe oder einem Fünfgang-Schaltgetriebe mit Overdrive erhältlich. Je nach Modelljahr gab Alpina eine Beschleunigung auf 100 km/h in 5,9 oder 6,7 Sekunden und eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 250 oder 265 km/h an.
Klassische Alpinas liegen derzeit voll im Trend und die Preise für gute Exemplare schießen in die Höhe.
Bei dem hier vorliegenden Exemplar handelt es sich um ein 292er-Exemplar, das von Alpina auf dem BMW 635 gefertigt wurde. Es wird in den Farben Weiß mit einer schönen schwarzen Lederausstattung geliefert. Innen sieht dieses Auto wie neu aus. The Alpina B7 Turbo Coupé was introduced in 1978, making it the first BMW 6 Series to be modified by Alpina. Behind the distinctive "shark nose" was a modified 3.5 liter six-cylinder in-line to which a turbo was screwed on, bringing the power to an astonishing 330 hp for the time.
The B7 was available with a close-ratio five-speed or a five-speed manual with overdrive. Depending on the model year, Alpina claimed acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.9 or 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 250 or 265 km/h.
