This 1967 BMW R60/2 Classic Racer combines the timeless appearance of a classic BMW motorcycle with sporty engineering. The original R60/2 was produced between 1960 and 1969 and is renowned for its robust boxer engine, shaft drive and reliable mechanical construction.

This example has been converted into a Classic Racer and features a rebuilt BMW R75/5 engine, equipped with both electric start and kickstart. The Bing carburettors have been rebuilt and an electronic ignition system has been installed. The motorcycle also features an R90S front fork with matching brake calipers, Magura handlebars and distinctive Hoske racing exhaust pipes.

The motorcycle has been repainted in its original black colour and is fitted with new Firestone Deluxe tyres. Thanks to its specific racing configuration, this BMW is suitable for participation in classic racing events in the ‘Twins’ category up to 750 cc, subject to the applicable competition regulations.
