The Chevrolet Corvette C3, introduced in 1968, represents a pivotal moment in the history of America’s most iconic sports car. Directly inspired by the Mako Shark II concept, this generation brought a dramatic and revolutionary design, characterized by sharp lines, sculpted fenders, and aggressive proportions, quickly becoming one of the most recognizable automotive shapes ever produced.

During the early 1970s, the Corvette stood at the peak of the muscle car era, combining powerful V8 engines with bold and unmistakable styling. The 1971 model year holds a particularly significant place in this evolution, as it represents one of the last years in which the Corvette retained its raw performance character, before increasingly strict emissions and safety regulations began to impact power outputs and overall driving dynamics.

We are pleased to offer this stunning 1971 Chevrolet Corvette C3, finished in the distinctive War Bonnet Yellow, a brilliant gold tone that beautifully enhances the car’s sculpted lines, paired with elegant dark chocolate brown interior.

The car spent most of its life in the United States before being imported to Italy in 2021. Since then, it has undergone a comprehensive restoration, including a full repaint following careful body preparation, as well as a complete interior refurbishment.

In addition, extensive mechanical servicing and restoration work have been carried out, resulting in a car that is today in excellent overall condition and ready to be enjoyed.

Under the hood lies the classic 350ci V8 producing 207 hp, paired with an automatic transmission—an ideal combination for effortless cruising and authentic American driving pleasure. The car is also fitted with a Flowmaster exhaust system, enhancing the deep and unmistakable sound of the V8.

The configuration is completed by the T-Top roof, making the car perfect for summer drives, offering an engaging open-air experience accompanied by the iconic rumble of an American V8.

La Chevrolet Corvette C3, presentata nel 1968, segna una svolta fondamentale nella storia della sportiva americana per eccellenza. Ispirata direttamente alla concept car Mako Shark II, questa generazione introduce un design rivoluzionario, fatto di linee tese, parafanghi scolpiti e proporzioni estremamente aggressive, diventando rapidamente una delle silhouette più iconiche mai prodotte negli Stati Uniti.

Nel corso dei primi anni ’70, la Corvette rappresenta il punto più alto dell’era delle muscle car, combinando grandi motorizzazioni V8 con uno stile audace e riconoscibile. Il model year 1971 occupa una posizione particolarmente interessante: si tratta infatti di uno degli ultimi anni in cui il carattere prestazionale e “puro” della Corvette rimane ancora intatto, prima dell’introduzione delle normative sempre più restrittive su emissioni e sicurezza che avrebbero progressivamente ridotto potenze e prestazioni.

Proponiamo questa splendida Chevrolet Corvette C3 del 1971, rifinita nell’affascinante e raro colore War Bonnet Yellow, una brillante tonalità oro che esalta magnificamente le linee della carrozzeria, abbinata a eleganti interni color marrone scuro cioccolato.

La vettura ha trascorso gran parte della sua vita negli Stati Uniti ed è stata importata in Italia nel 2021. Successivamente è stata oggetto di un importante intervento di restauro, che ha incluso la completa riverniciatura della carrozzeria, preceduta da un’accurata lavorazione della scocca, oltre al rifacimento totale degli interni.

Parallelamente, sono stati eseguiti numerosi interventi di manutenzione e ripristino su tutta la meccanica, rendendo oggi la vettura pronta all’uso e in eccellenti condizioni generali.

Sotto il cofano troviamo il classico V8 350ci da 207 CV, abbinato al cambio automatico, una configurazione ideale per godere appieno della guida in puro stile americano, fluida e potente. La vettura è inoltre equipaggiata con scarico Flowmaster, che esalta ulteriormente il sound profondo e inconfondibile del V8.

Completa la configurazione il tetto T-Top, che rende la vettura perfetta per un utilizzo estivo, offrendo il piacere della guida en plein air accompagnati dal rombo iconico del motore.
