Offered here is a charming and very well-presented 1968 Mini Cooper Mk. II, capturing everything that makes this iconic British classic so enduringly popular. Finished in Almond Green with a contrasting white roof and matching green interior, it's a subtle, period-correct colour combination that really suits the Mini's timeless shape. Sensible upgrades include a period steering wheel, Minilite wheels, a full-length Webasto roof and a rear screen heater, all of which enhance usability while remaining true to its character.

First delivered in August 1968 to a Mr Wolstencroft, the car has a pleasing ownership history. Its first owner kept it until 1980, followed by a second until 1990, and then a long-term owner from 1992 to 2007. The current enthusiast owner has had it since 2015, purchasing it locally after a full restoration in 2011. Since then, it has been dry stored and used sparingly, mainly for summer drives, local shows and the occasional Sunday run through the countryside.

Maintained with care, the owner's engineering background has seen much of the routine servicing carried out personally, using correct period parts where needed. The result is a Mini that presents superbly today, both mechanically and cosmetically. It's described as a joy to drive, delivering the nimble, engaging experience the Cooper is known for, and has even completed the Brighton run without issue, drawing plenty of attention along the way. Now reluctantly offered as the owner moves on to another project, this is a beautifully kept and highly usable example ideal for shows and events.
