Introduced in 1999, the TVR Tuscan quickly became one of the most iconic models to emerge from Blackpool during the marque's later years. Instantly recognisable thanks to its dramatic styling, minimalist interior, and absence of driver aids, the Tuscan embodies TVR's uncompromising philosophy of building lightweight, high-performance sportscars for purists. In 'S' Mk. II form, the model benefited from a number of important refinements, most notably an improved version of TVR's in-house Speed Six engine, delivering sharper reliability alongside its already electrifying performance. With no ABS, traction control, or airbags, the Tuscan offers a truly raw and immersive driving experience, which is increasingly rare in the modern era.

First registered in August 2003, this Tuscan S Mk. II has clearly been cherished throughout its life, as evidenced by a comprehensive and highly impressive service history. Early maintenance was carried out by Fernhurst TVR, followed by long-term care under respected specialist Elmwood, who attended to the car consistently over many years, including notable works such as a replacement steering rack and engine mounts in 2017 and a clutch replacement in 2018. More recent servicing has been entrusted to Mole Valley and Christian Cars, with attention as recently as September 2025, when cooling hoses and a drive belt were replaced. This continuous, specialist-led maintenance speaks volumes about the car's condition today.

The driving experience has been further enhanced with the addition of bespoke Nitron suspension, fitted in 2024. The vendor notes that this upgrade has transformed the car's dynamics, providing greater composure and precision without compromising the visceral character which defines the Tuscan. At the same time, the car was professionally set up with corner weighting and a full geometry adjustment, ensuring it performs exactly as intended. The result is a car that feels sharp, balanced, and utterly engaging from behind the wheel.

Presented in metallic grey with a black and grey interior, this example offers a refreshingly subtle and sophisticated take on the Tuscan's often flamboyant aesthetic. In contrast to the well-known 'flip paint' finishes frequently associated with the model, this colour combination is understated yet elegant, allowing the car's dramatic shape to speak for itself. Our vendor has used a coachbuilder to improve the shut lines of the car, ensuring they're now excellent and also had the wheels refurbished in the correct shade of Silver, to bring them up to the same standard as the rest of the car.
