1980 | Porsche 911 SC 3.0 "Weissach"

To promote the recently inaugurated Special Requests Department and to honor the motorsport and developmental achievements of the new Weissach Development Center, this special model was named "911 3.0 SC Weissach". It was designated by the equipment option number M439 and built exclusively for the American market.

A total of 400 cars of this special series were produced. Half of the vehicles left the factory in the exterior color Black Metallic, while the other half were painted in Platinum Metallic.

The Weissach-Edition special models were generously equipped. All vehicles came standard with a front and rear spoiler featuring additional integrated fog lights in the front bumper. The rear spoiler was taken from the 911 Turbo 3.0 and slightly modified. The equipment was further complemented by Bilstein shock absorbers, a passenger-side exterior mirror, an electrically operated sunroof, as well as full leather upholstery in Dorit grey with burgundy-colored piping, electric windows, and a Blaupunkt radio. Additionally, 15-inch Fuchs wheels with a Platinum Metallic painted wheel star were part of the standard equipment. The combination of these special wheels with the spoilers resulted in a sporty, yet not overly aggressive appearance.

This is currently the only one available in Germany!!!

Converted at today's exchange rate, the Weissach Edition had a retail price of approximately $180,000 in 1980!!!
