Interior colour: black

It goes without saying that the Porsche 911 has a unique place in automotive history; as the most famous sports wagon in the world, there is hardly anyone who does not know the model. 911s from all series are popular, with special editions invariably ending up on the 'most wanted' list. This also applies to the 996 GT3. If the car is also finished in Speed Gelb, then all the boxes have been ticked to make it a very popular example.

The Porsche 996 is the first series to be delivered as a GT3. With its 360 hp M96/76 engine, the GT3 is an executioner of a car that, in all its purity, has been developed to perform optimally on the track but at the same time also provide enjoyable drives on public roads. The experts agree: the first series GT3 is one of the best GT3s ever produced. And there aren't many, only about 1,800 of this generation were built.

The yellow bodywork looks aggressive but also typically 'classic' 911. Very characteristic of the GT3 is the wavy rear wing and the wheels that were specially developed for this version. The front bumper and skirts are also different from the basic model. There is no evidence that this 996 has driven just over 120,000 kilometers: the bodywork, paintwork and all other things that can be seen walking around the car appear to be in new condition.

The GT3 party continues unabated indoors. Carbon bucket seats, six-point seat belts, a roll cage and yellow center tunnel: this car exudes 'circuit'. The condition of the Recaro seats and the rest of the interior can be described as 'new' as the exterior of the 911. The few owners who have owned this GT3 have pampered the car enormously.

The real treat of this car is of course under the compact hood. The 3.6 liter six-cylinder has its origins in racing, where the basis of the engine can be traced back to the GT1, with which Porsche won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998. In the GT3 the turbos have been omitted and the gearbox comes from the 993 GT2, as does the crankcase. When the 996 is started, the owner is treated to a beautiful Porsche roar. Mechanical. Beautiful.
The engine of this GT3 has already been preventively overhauled, something that clearly shows how previous owners handled this car: with care, love and expertise.

Not only the engine, which with its brutal power ensures that the top speed is 302 km/h, but also the chassis and the brakes provide a lot of respect. The adjustable suspension is 30 mm lower than a standard 911 of that time and the brakes are stronger, both front and rear. All together it makes this car an absolute collector's item. A unique opportunity to acquire a first generation GT3, cars in this condition are rarely offered. The car looks as if it has just left the showroom and the technology has been perfectly maintained, without any concessions made to the maintenance interval or work.

The car naturally comes with all the original books, invoices and other items such as the navigation CDs and the necessary magazines from the time when this 996 GT3 was still new. The Porsche certificate is also included, which indicates that the engine and gearbox are the original ones with which this 1999 Porsche was delivered. A unique car.
