1972 | Porsche 911 2.4 T

The original Porsche 911 with its famous, distinctive and durable design was introduced in the autumn of 1963 and built until 1989. Mechanically, it was notable for being rear-engined and air-cooled. From its inception, the 911 was modified both by private racing teams and the Porsche factory itself for racing, rallying and other automotive competitions and is one of the most iconic classic cars seen today.

This superb looking example started out life as a 1972 Porsche 911T. It was later treated to upgrades and modifications to its current specification, metal widebody rear arches were fitted and the engine was upgraded to a 3.2 litre unit producing a 'Super Sport' style. In good general condition, this 911 sounds fantastic and looks excellent in its desirable colour combination of blue coachwork over cream leather interior. Paired with its Targa roof the Porsche is ready to be enjoyed and is offered at a fraction of the cost of an original Super Sport example. Interested parties should note that the speedometer has stopped working. Offered with its current V5 registration document and MoT records dating back to 2006. Acquired by the current vendor in 2021, the Porsche has been used and enjoyed as intended and is ready for its next chapter. Consigned by Daniel Godin
