This is a beautiful 1972 Porsche 911 2.2E Targa. The car was recently fully restored and overhauled. In addition, this is a matching numbers and matching colors copy. The 911 Targa remains an iconic model that cannot be compared to anything in the automotive landscape. The 2.2 liter six-cylinder boxer produces 155 hp and is equipped with fuel injection.

The body was recently repainted in its original "Conda Grun" color. It looks fantastic on the car and is actually directly reminiscent of times gone by when people sometimes ordered an exciting color on a car. In any case, you stand out in the gray mass that currently fills the country's roads. The car stands on the characteristic Fuchs rims that are inextricably linked to the Porsche 911. It will therefore be difficult to find a wheel that suits this type of Porsche better. The rims are of course fitted with good tires in the correct sizes. During the painting work, the body was completely re-tightened. The sheet metal is therefore beautifully tight and has correct fits. The moldings and lamps are all original Porsche and are only in good condition. The removable Targa roof is also in very good condition and connects everywhere.

The interior has already been completely reupholstered and still looks beautiful. As befits a real sports car, the Porsche is equipped with well-fitting bucket seats that fit well to your body and also look beautiful. The seats are covered with fabric that is considerably more comfortable in warm weather than the often mounted vinyl. This Porsche is also equipped with a rear seat. In addition, the rear passengers have their own seat belts. The dashboard is typical for Porsche, it seems to hang from the windscreen and gives a spacious feeling. Furthermore, the "dogleg" gearbox pattern and the large, centrally placed tachometer stand out. Finally, an original Porsche Radio has been mounted. Everything shows that this is an enthusiast's car of the purest water. The upholstery does not remain as attractive if the car is stored in wind and weather. Finally, the gray carpets are all in very good condition and fit beautifully.

The technology consists of the popular 2.2 liter boxer six cylinder engine that delivers 155 hp. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and allows the 911 to deliver compelling performance even today, not for a 1972 car, but for all cars. The 911 Targa weighs only 1,050 kilograms and is therefore still a fast car with a horsepower/weight distribution of about 150 horsepower per ton. In addition, the driving behavior of an old 911 is incomparable. Because the engine is behind the rear wheels, you are not forced into a bend too hard. The advantage of the engine in this position is that you can go full throttle early on and the rear is well pressed against the asphalt. The traction is then unprecedented and makes driving an old 911 a pleasure for anyone who enjoys perfect cornering.

Finally, the car is beautifully documented. The original purchase receipt is present as well as all invoices for the overhaul, painting work and other maintenance. In short, not only a beautiful example to see, but also a fantastic car to drive.
