1960 | Porsche 356 B 1600 Super 90

With the Type 356, Porsche achieved a great success. In 1948, production began by hand in small numbers in Gmunden, Austria. From 1949 onwards, series production was prepared in Stuttgart as a subtenant in the Reutter bodywork company, and after the release of the factory confiscated by the Allies, it was possible to start production in Zuffenhausen at the end of 1949. The 356 A was followed by the 356 B from 1959 onwards. In addition to the coupé, cabriolets and roadsters were also offered with engines producing 60, 75 or 90 hp.

Our Porsche 356 B 1600 Super 90 Roadster was imported from California to Germany in 1995 and registered after restoration in 1998. This historic sports car with its powerful engine is in great demand. If it is driven in bad weather, the crank windows and the tight hood are a great advantage. A valuation from 2022 gives the grade 2. The Porsche classic car is a collector’s item, but also invites active driving.
