Production of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport began in Japan in July 1996, and it was also available in Germany from fall 1998.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, built in 2000 (internal code K90), is a robust off-road vehicle based on the chassis of the L200 pickup.

It combines genuine off-road capabilities with a sportier look than the classic Pajero.

Thanks to its ladder frame, rigid rear axle, and high ground clearance (approx. 205–215 mm), it is extremely capable off-road.

With regular maintenance, the engines and transmissions are considered very durable; mileage of over 300,000 km is therefore not uncommon.

Our Pajero Sport has been regularly serviced, has a new timing belt, new Yokohama Geolandar AT off-road tires, and

in December 2025, it received a “no defects” TÜV sticker.

We would describe it as a good and reliable companion on long journeys, which is also ideal for hunting.
