W636 UFA is a superbly presented, original example of the ever-popular Jaguar XK8 Convertible. The XK8 has covered just 61,000 miles from new and has spent fourteen years with its most recent owner. The car has been subject to meticulous maintenance whilst being dry stored and according to its long-term owner, under his stewardship it has never been taken out in the rain. Accompanying the car is a comprehensive file of invoices and original handbooks and service booklet.

The most recent owner purchased the Jaguar in 2012 from the well-known former prestige dealership Philip Welch Specialist Cars of York who looked after it for the following 8 years. Since 2020, the XK8 has been looked after annually by ‘The Jag Specialist' based in Doncaster. 2025 saw the XK receive a full service, new front upper wishbones, a new oxygen sensor, a new battery, and an MOT test. In the service book, stamps have been entered at 5351, 11335, 14597, 23512, 29600, 35024, 38776, 40587, 43204, 44407, 47217, 50009, and 51309 miles. Further invoices detail additional services at 53746, 55181, 56382, 58145, 59364, and 60555 miles.

Underneath the bonnet lies a superbly presented engine bay, home to the 32v 4.0L DOHC V8 engine that produces a comprehensive 290bhp. Performance can be described as immensely capable with a 0-60 of 6.7 seconds and a top speed that is electronically limited to 156mph. The automatic 5-speed transmission is superbly smooth through the gears with a quick kick down when more power is required. While the acceleration is certainly impressive, the comfort offered is what sets the Jaguar XK8 apart from its competition. Convenience was at the forefront of the design with the power roof taking center stage alongside the electric seats, wing mirrors, and air conditioning.

The registration plate holds sentimental value with the previous owner so will not be included in the sale.
