Descripción

The Datsun 240Z, or Fairlady Z, as it was called in Japan, unequivocally proved that the Japanese knew how to make cars. Introduced in 1969, this 2-seater GT was a sports car in its own right and is still one of the most iconic cars of the 20th century.

This 240Z was sold in Portugal to its first owner in August of 1973. It features the original (matching numbers) 2.4 liter in-line 6 engine with 150 hp and underwent a total restoration in 2016 at the renowned Antero & Borges workshop in Lisbon.

The biggest highlight of this 240z are the original JDM parts applied to bring it closer to the iconic 432R – the homologation version for the Japanese touring championship.

Among the original parts we highlight the 432R exhaust, with 4-1 manifold, bigger AP Racing brakes, original Watanabe wheels, three Weber twin carburettors, competition camshaft, Nismo strut bars, applied to the engine bay and boot , 90 liter fuel tank, original Skyline bucket seats and the rare chronometer clock.

This 240Z is a true collector's piece for lovers of the Japanese brand, designed, restored and impeccably maintained by enthusiasts and connoisseurs of Datsun history. Included in the sale are all original parts, including alloy wheels, center console and seats. It also comes with the original tool kit, driver's manual and certificate of historical interest from the ACP.
