Fantastic specimen and an icon of Citroën
The Citroën SM, a car that speaks volumes and about which books can be written and, of course, have already been written. A singularly designed car from a French automaker with Italian engineering on board: a more than striking combination.

The chic warm-gray SM we offer here dates from 1972 and has been restored. This SM was originally delivered in America, which is why the Frenchman is recognizable by the headlights without glass covers. The coupé drawn by the in the car world legendary Robert Opron, the car has a line that clearly resembles the DS, without a stripe corresponding.

As mentioned, the bodywork was restored at the time. With beautiful paintwork, chrome work that is in good shape and with the right wheels, tires and details, it is a car to put through the proverbial ring. Beautiful!

The interior is equally beautiful, with gorgeous black leather on the futuristically designed seats. Electric windows, variable power steering, air conditioning, the single-spoke steering wheel and the brilliant gauges from Jaeger: everything oozes luxury and quality in this SM. It almost sounds boring after naming the perfect bodywork but even in the interior there is simply not really anything that could be improved.

The car has been idle in a privé-collection for the last few years.
