Bentley Speed 8, year chassis 1952. Chassis (VIN) number B33RS, engine number B80-18350. VandenPlas style bodywork finished in dark British Racing Green combined with a black hood, hood cover and tonneau cover. The open tourer interior is upholstered in dark green leather and dark green wool carpet.

This glorious Bentley Speed 8 Special was built by the renowned company of Racing Green Engineering (RGE) in Wales, UK. The Bentley is based on a fully restored and rebuilt 1952 Bentley MK VI chassis fitted with a fully rebuilt B80 5700 cc eight cylinder in-line engine. The aluminium bodywork is masterfully hand-built by the skilled RGE craftsmen to the highest possible standards of perfection. The Vanden Plas type open tourer bodywork (as used on Le Mans!) is built to the Weyman ‘flexible body’ principle and clad with fabric. This body type is sound dampening, rattle free and completely silent. The combination of the rugged and reliable post war Bentley MK VI chassis with fully synchronized 4-speed gearbox, hydraulic drum brakes around, the powerful 5.7 litre engine, the build to high modern quality standards, and Le Mans style pre-war design make that this Bentley Speed 8 offers the best of both worlds.

Modern ease of operation, better handling, more comfort, and great reliability combined with the most evocative vintage looks! Since completion of the built in 2017, the car has driven 2500 kilometres in the hands one owner. This imposing machine was perfectly serviced; the automobile is in excellent condition! The car shows only slight traces of previous use. This fine Bentley special is fitted with 21-inch wire wheels shod with 6.75-7.00 Blockley tyres. Extra options are an extra storage box, rear light painted in chassis/body colour, and deluxe Claxon horns. The bucket seats are ideally placed so that also tall drivers and passengers have ample leg space.
