Chassisnumber 2420502 is an early example of a 2000 GTV, produced on the 17th of June 1971 and first registered on the 30th of June to Gaetano Moretti of Bari and registered BA3U6445. Delivered new in the rare colour combo of Beige Chiaro Metallizzato AR 836 over a Black leatherette interior, exactly the spec it is presented in today. Thanks to the presence of the sought-after Libretto, the full history of this GTV is known, which is simply remarkable. A nice detail is that the car has remained in Bari throughout its entire life (until it came to the Netherlands in Februry 2024) with its original registration plates of BA306445 - according to the original Libretto.

As per its accompanying Certificate of Authenticity, this GTV maintains its fully matching numbers status as it is still mated to its original engine "02292". Furthermore is this motorcar boasting an ASI Gold ("oro") status to further underline its mint, freshly restored and above all original condition, accompanied by the official certificate and Gold plaque which is installed onto the parcel shelf. A few years ago, the car received a comprehensive restoration both technically and aesthetically which make for the car's simply stunning condition in which it is presented in today. Most importantly, has the body of the car remained unmolested and largely unwelded throughout its life so the original seams, spot welds and weldlines are still evident throughout the entire car. Technically, this GTV is as splendid as it looks. Buttersmooth gearbox, well set-up engine with double Solex carburettors. Gearbox and drivetrain are, needless to say, in equal health form. Prior to offering for sale has the GTV received a full service including fluids and filters as well as a wheel re-alignment. Talking about wheels, it is supplied with the ever-so desirable 15" GTA-style wheels and equally brand new Hankook tires. Additionally it is sitting on a brand new set of Eibach lowered springs, making for that desperately menacing stance and elevates the driving dynamics to a much higher level.

The car will be supplied with a dedicated history file which contains, but is not limited to, the following documents; original owners' manual, technical supplement, Libretto, Certificate of Authenticity, ASI certificate and plaque. Two original sets of keys are present too. The completeness of this GTV cannot be underestimated, it simply does not get better. Currently supplied with Italian documents, it can be registered in the Netherlands (on beautiful dark blue classic license plates) and in that case, will be supplied with a fresh MOT prior to handover.

Bite-Size:

Seldomly are GTV's offered in such mint, unmolested form and so complete with all accessories and documentation. A very rare and svelte colour combination and simply stunning restored condition set it apart from all the others. An opportunity not to be missed.
