The HMC (Holmes Motor Company) Mk1V sports car was conceived as the successor to the Austin Healey Mk3 & was therefore designed and produced as an evolution of the original big Healey Mk3 3000. The entire production was approved and overseen by both Donald Healey & his son Geoffrey. This example, being 1 of only 183 examples produced, was registered in March 1998 & has only 1 previous owner. Finished in a classic colour scheme of Healey Racing red paintwork with contrasting black leather interior with red piping, the car is specified with a Kenwood radio/cd player, adjustable steering column, electric windows and 15" chrome wire wheels shod with four new Falken tyres we have just had fitted. This HMC MK1V has a large history file of works completed over the years, with receipts of seven services carried out by both HMC and Land Rover specialists. Superbly presented with 50k miles, this low mileage HMC is supplied with a new & clean MOT without advisories, fully serviced & with a new set of tyres making it ready to be enjoyed by its fortunate new owner. It is on good authority from the factory that this car is believed to be only 1 of 6 HMC sports cars that were finished in Healey Racing red.
