The Vanquish has been a prominent figure in the public eye, particularly since James Bond's reunion with an Aston Martin Vanquish in the blockbuster film 'Die Another Day'. Who could forget that famous car chase scene on the ice?!

Introduced to the press and potential customers in October 2000, the production Vanquish made its public debut at the Geneva Salon in March 2001. Production swiftly began at the revitalised Newport Pagnell factory, with deliveries to customers starting in the Summer of 2001.

In the Autumn of 2004, Aston Martin unveiled the ultimate iteration of the Vanquish, the Vanquish S, boasting 520 bhp and capable of reaching 200 mph. Serving as the flagship or the 'Hero' car in Aston Martin's lineup, the Vanquish S held this prestigious position until production concluded in the summer of 2007, coinciding with the closure of the Newport Pagnell factory making the Vanquish S the final car to be produced at the legendary factory. By the end of 2007, a total of 1,086 Vanquish S examples had been built, now highly sought after by a discerning clientele.

For the 2006 model year Vanquish S, the interior underwent a transformation inspired by the DB9, featuring a redesigned centre console. A prominent 6.5-inch full-colour satellite navigation system screen took centre stage, relocating the starter button and gear selection switches. These late-production cars are often referred to as the 'Late Dash' variant and are considered the most desirable.

This 2007 Vanquish S, a superb representation of Ian Callum's iconic design, has only covered 11,450 miles since new. Maintained in impeccable condition, the car has been cherished by its previous enthusiastic owners.
