Originally delivered in the Netherlands by Hessing – the royal purveyor for anyone who felt a Mercedes was just a little too ordinary.

This 1996 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is anything but ordinary. It’s long, it’s wide, it weighs nearly two and a half tonnes – and yet it’s remarkably swift and effortlessly smooth. Under the bonnet lies the iconic 6.75-litre V8, delivering 300 bhp – but really, the number doesn’t matter. The only thing that counts is that, as Rolls-Royce likes to say, it’s "adequate."

The Silver Spur was the long-wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit – a bit like asking your Rolls-Royce dealer: “I’ll take the same one, just a size up – the dog needs some legroom too.”

Inside, it’s a celebration of Connolly leather and burl walnut – enough, frankly, to build an entire yacht.

Originally Dutch-delivered, with just three owners from new and a valid MOT through 2026 – in short, a Rolls as indestructible as the British monarchy.
