Nash Metropolitan from 1959.
Original in the colors red and white.
White-gray interior entirely according to the original specifications.
The black metal dashboard looks perfect with all the original switches and the nice speedometer in the middle in front of the original steering wheel.
The Nash is equipped with the well-known 1500 cc MGA engine with 2 SU carburettors.
This Metropolitan has been modified on a few points and now has a modern 5-speed gearbox, an alternator and electronic ignition.
The front suspension was also modified and is equipped with disc brakes.
Partly for this reason, 14" rims were installed instead of the original 13" rims.
From 1959 onwards, the Metropolitan has a tailgate and a convex rear window in one piece.

This Nash was imported from the USA in 2016 and has a Dutch license plate.
A fun and, above all, very special classic that has been restored to perfection.
The photos show this very convincingly. No savings have been made.
Since the restoration, which was completed in 2023, 50 km have been driven.

The Nash Metropolitan is an American car that was produced in England from 1953 to 1961. From 1955 the 1200 cc engine was replaced by the 1500cc engine. Originally there was a 3-speed gearbox. 60,000 were produced.
The styling for all Nash vehicles at the time was an amalgamation of designs from Pinin Farina and its design house in Italy and the in-house Nash design team.

The restoration costs were of course much higher than the asking price, so this is a unique opportunity to buy a perfect Nash Metropolitan.
