1958 | MG MGA 1500

! Update of the weak points - oil drops at the front cranksaft seal - the problem is solved - a new pulley including seal was installed!

We need to sell our MGA 1500 Coupe because of space issues. The car is a very fast small british Sportscar with a lot of upgrades.

• Danish initial registration (hence the yellow indicator lights at the wings)
• The car was restored in 2013 in Denmark
• The car has since then a 1800cui 5-bearing MGB engine

We own the car since 2015. A lot of work was accomplished by 2 well known british car specialists in Hamburg.

• Eninge rebuild in 2018/19 after severe engine failure
• We also changed to a modern gearbox (Vitesse LTD 5-speed)
• New clutch
• Mini hi-torque starter
• Electrical cooling fan 
• 3-point seatbelts

Before 2018 we also had the following work done: 

• 15x5,5" Minator central locking wheels with Avon Sport Tires
• Converted to MGB disc brakes in the front (original parts included)
• Stainless braided Brake hoses
• Hazard switch installed
• 2x 12 Volt Varta Batteries
• Lokari inner wheelhouse protectione at the front and rear (not yet installed)
• Moto-Lita wodden steering rim (original included)
• and many more new parts ...

The car already had the following parts when we bought it:

• Spax shock absorber at the rear axle
• Superflex Polyurethan bushings
• Petronix Ignitor ignition
• SU air filters (a pair of originals for restauration included)
• Stainless steel exhaust system after the sport manifold

 Weak points:

• The speedometer does not work correctly yet with the new transmission
• Some oil drops coming of the front crankshaft seal. The garage is going to fix the problem
• We already bought the car with some small dents and scratches
