1990 | Land Rover Range Rover Classic 3.9

Out of all 40+ Range Rover Classics that have passed through our hands, this is simply "next level" as far as performance and 90's style.
Combination of lighter 2-door body, 5-speed manual gearbox, non-catalyst 3.9 litre engine, performance exhaust manifolds and large bore stainless sports exhaust add up to nearly the best achievable with the standard size 3.9 V8, known for its durability as well as performance.

Late two-doors with the 3.9 litre fuel injected engine are rare, most 90's 2-doors were diesels for southern Europe. For 1991 model year there were many improvements, like larger sunroof in glass instead of steel (very rare with 2-door), fuel tank in plastic with remote filler release and ABS brakes.

Subject of over two years of body off chassis restoration including new body panels where needed, complete respray etc. -invoices for over 40K Euros
With discreet modifications;
- air conditioning
- leather seats in Jaguar Doeskin beige, closely matching the original Brogue Brown cloth, including middle perforation and added contrasting green piping.
- air vent console trimmed in leather, with surrounds of vents and other console parts in matching soft paint
- first in the world stainless steel front and rear bumpers looking similar to the CSK and Vogue LSE /County LWB chrome bumpers
- Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB mechless retro unit with digital radio, USB, SD card and miniplug connection, combined with Alpine mid range and tweeter speaker system, as well as Infinity Basslink active subwoofer.
All the audio is discreetly hidden, designed to be heard but not seen...

This Range Rover Classic two-door presents my personal preferences, but happy to modify for the next custodian as needed.

Complete history since new -Belgium and Finland.
Used and thoroughly enjoyed by myself since the 2021-2023 restoration, all the time improving and upgrading!
New underside pictures added in January 2024 during the latest service.
