With the introduction of the F430 at the 2004 Paris Motor Show, Ferrari once again moved the game forward massively with their new mid-engine V8 sports car. In many ways, they took everything that was great about its predecessor, the 360 ​​Modena, and enhanced it to make a faster, more agile, more comfortable, and more reliable car. But for some drivers, that wasn't enough. During the 360's production, a limited run of track-focused Challenge Stradales were built-stripped-out versions of the road car with increased power and greater agility- meant to compete with the likes of the contemporary GT3 RS. At the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show, Ferrari showed off their new F430 Scuderia. Introduced by 7-time F1 Drivers Championship Winner Michael Schumacher, the Scuderia took everything people loved about the standard F430 and turned it up to make the already great F430 into a world-class driver's car.

This 2008 Ferrari F430 Scuderia was first sold in October of 2008 at Samocar Ferrari in Rome, Italy. Finished in the quintessential Ferrari paint color of Rosso Corsa, this Scuderia was optioned with a pair of Grigio Silverstone painted over-the-top stripes to match the press photos that came out at launch. Unlike the press photos, though, a set of stunning bronze finish wheels were optioned on this car that provide an outstanding contrast with the red car and make it a truly special specification. One of the most interesting pieces of the Scuderia's subtle body changes is the rear end, where the exhaust pipes have been moved from the lower corners in the standard F430 up to the center of the rear valance, as you would see on an F430 Challenge car . Also, the grill between the headlights was redesigned and fashioned out of beautiful gloss carbon fiber, which adds to the motorsport feel of this car.

The gloss carbon fiber carries over to the interior, where it can be found on the door cards, instrument panel, air vent surrounds, and center console. The Scuderia's interior is quite spartan, with no carpeting, minimal sound deadening, and Alcantara or cloth in the place of leather on the seats and dash. Additionally, this example was ordered without a radio, making it even lighter than most other Scuderias out there.

Utilizing Ferrari's new F136E engine, the Scuderia received a 20 horsepower bump over the standard car, bringing the total power to 503 hp at 8,500 rpm. This engine offers a far more visceral driving experience than the standard F430 in the way that it revs and in this car, looks absolutely amazing with swathes of carbon fiber lining the sides of the engine bay along with the air boxes and intake plenum. The 6-speed paddle shift gearbox received new Superfast2 software that allowed for 60 millisecond shift times and was paired to a new F1-Trac traction control system and E-differential at the rear. Even with all of this new technology, weight on the Scuderia was down 100 kg over a standard F430 and 0-100 km/h was possible in a mere 3.6 seconds.

Offered with its original service book, tool kit, and complete service history, this F430 Scuderia is truly a one-of-a-kind drive. With Ferrari moving to hybridization in its mid-engine cars, the lightweight, unfiltered driving experience found in a Scuderia may never be improved by the team at Maranello.

Questa Ferrari F430 Scuderia del 2008 è stata venduta per la prima volta nell'ottobre del 2008 presso la concessionaria Samocar Ferrari di Roma. Di colore Rosso Corsa, questa Scuderia è stata ordinata con le iconiche stripes dipinte in Grigio Silverstone, esattamente come la vettura che presento’ Schumacher con l’unica differenza dei cerchi i bronzo. Uno dei dettagli più interessanti dei sottili cambiamenti della carrozzeria della Scuderia è la parte posteriore, dove i tubi di scarico sono stati spostati dagli angoli inferiori nella F430 standard fino al centro del paraurti posteriore, come sul Challenge F430. Inoltre, la griglia tra i fari è stata ridisegnata e realizzata in bellissimo carbonio lucido.

Il carbonio lucido si estende anche all'interno, si trova infatti sulle pannellature delle porte, il cruscotto, gli elementi attorno alle bocchette dell'aria e la console centrale. L'interno della Scuderia è piuttosto spartano, senza moquette, con un isolamento acustico minimo e l’Alcantara al posto della pelle sui sedili e sul cruscotto. Inoltre, questo esemplare è stato ordinato senza radio, rendendolo ancora più leggero rispetto alla maggior parte delle altre Scuderie là fuori.

Utilizzando il nuovo motore F136E di Ferrari, la Scuderia riceve un incremento di 20 cavalli rispetto alla vettura standard, portando la potenza totale a 503 CV a 8.500 giri/min. Questo motore offre un'esperienza di guida molto più viscerale rispetto alla F430 standard. Il cambio sequenziale a 6 velocità a palette ha ricevuto un nuovo software “Superfast2: che consente tempi di cambiata di soli 60 millisecondi ed è abbinato a un nuovo sistema di controllo della trazione F1-Trac e a un differenziale elettronico al posteriore. Anche con tutta questa nuova tecnologia, il peso della Scuderia è stato ridotto di 100 kg rispetto a una F430 standard e lo 0-100 km/h era possibile in soli 3,6 secondi.
