Donkervoort introduced the D8 in 1993. As is customary with Donkervoort, this model was also a sensational two-seater with extreme performance. Starting in 1999, the D8 was equipped with a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine from Audi. This four-cylinder, 20-valve engine delivered 150 hp as standard, but Donkervoort also offered versions with 180 hp (and later, even more upon request). The Donkervoort at Classic Park is one such D8 version with 180 hp. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds and can reach a top speed of 210 km/h. The engine was built by Kronenburg Motoren and is also equipped with KMS, Kronenburg Motoren’s engine management system. As a result, the engine delivers even better performance, guaranteeing many sporty kilometers.

The Donkervoort D8 is a car primarily built for driving enthusiasts. Shifting gears, steering, everything is focused on driving pleasure, which comes standard with a smile. The sporty black leather bucket seats and Willans harnesses certainly contribute to that experience. So do the black paint with striking red accents, the small, flattened Momo steering wheel, and the black dashboard with white dials, all of which continuously reflect the sporty character of this supercar.
