1982 | Audi 100 Avant 2.0 Diesel

For sale is the Audi 100 Avant Diesel (Type 44 / C3) with a mileage of 365,371 km (227,031578162 mi) - at 333,333.3 km, we opened a small bottle of champagne. The car was initially driven by my father at his company, then taken over by my mother, and finally sold to me.

• Special component: A diesel-powered auxiliary heater.
• **Repair required: **Crank-operated sunroof.
• **Maintenance history: **The cylinder head was replaced at approximately 100,000 km. At 340,000 km, the upper section of the vehicle was galvanized – a measure Audi had previously only performed below the windows – and repainted white.
• A new windshield was also installed.

The car was driven on its own tires to the storage in a friend's dry barn for preservation on November 15, 2001. There, the following were done:

• Engine filled with 3.5 liters of engine oil to prevent oxidation,
• Injection pump treated with chain spray,
• Brake discs treated with chain grease,
• Brake drums treated with zinc dust (outside) and chain grease (inside),
• Wheel bearings treated,
• Door seals treated with Vaseline,
• Wrapped in "car pajamas" and special foil
• The vehicle stands on legs to relieve pressure on the suspension.
• Annual maintenance: The vehicle was visited every year, and new "air dryers" were always placed in the interior.
