Chassis 112748 was originally delivered new to Germany with several factory options, including two fog lamps, chrome wheels and an electric timer. Complete with its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, affirming the car's retention of its original engine and gearbox, as well as its striking original colour combination of Ruby Red with Leatherette and Cord. The production date was July 29, 1960, and the vehicle was initially sold by Porsche Munich. Subsequently, it was exported to the USA, where it is believed to have remained under the ownership of a Californian since the early 1970s until it was acquired and imported to the UK by its first UK owner in 2002.
The car is accompanied by a comprehensive history file, meticulously documenting the expenditures made by its three UK owners and showcasing the level of expenditure and care it has received.
