early car, first known with fuel filler on the left. Car is almost complete with all necessary parts to restore it to former Glory. Many new parts, wheel brake cylinders, brake linings, brake drums, all bowden cables, new cable loom, all suspension parts are new.

Engine is already restored. I would recommend to open the engine again for a crankshaft overhaul. I can do that, or I can include 2 new conrods with needle bearings if the buyer wants to do it by himself. That is a point we should discuss prior sale.

Original color is “Polarweiss” and can be seen everywhere. Body is in very good condition, was dry stored ever since. It seems an easy restoration, basically remove some small dents, paint and assemble. Car is already disassembled.

The metal plate behind the door handle is known on only 2 cars and seems like factory-fitted. Car has the ultra-rare metal “front spoiler”.

Missing parts: plexiglass roof, trims and side windows (available via german Messerschmitt Club), mirrors. I would recommend to restore it as convertible/cabrio.

I had to buy the car with a stock of spare parts but was only interested in the parts. So I am passing the car along. If nobody buys it I also have the option to restore it by myself, that would be number 5 in my workshop. This is one of only 170 worldwide known examples of the famous Tg500. This is probably the last unrestored Tg500 which will be on the market for a very long time.
