1995 | Bentley Turbo R

It is a fact that as a car enthusiast you must have owned a Bentley at some point. This beautiful Turbo R from 1995 has fulfilled that wish of ownership well and still does so. I drive this Bentley as a daily car, get a lot of thumbs up along the way and always have a chat with someone. When asked how much energy something like that consumes, I laugh and say, that's not what a car like that is about. And that is true because you simply pay more at the pump than with a Volkswagen Golf.

The Bentley Turbo R in Racing Green with Spruce interior was ordered new in 1994 from Jack Barclay in London, THE Bentley and Rolls Royce dealer in London and the most famous in England (probably Europe). The car received its first registration Y1 in 1995, a special license plate for a special car. The car then changed owners a few times, but all were enthusiasts who took care of the car down to the last detail. The car was fully maintained by a Bentley dealer and specialist until 2017. The car has been driven very little after 2017, less than 17,000 miles. As written, I drive the car daily and pamper the car as best as possible. The car has a complete maintenance history, as well as the original brochures, video tape and construction documentation from the Bentley factory.

Even though the car is very neat considering its age and mileage and drives incredibly well, there are of course a few points of interest. The paint could use a good cleaning, there are a number of spots with corrosion (no rust because largely aluminum) and it would need 4 new tires for good measure, and the steering wheel also has some play after 30 years. It is also part of it and a Turbo R from 1995 or 1996 (better engines) in new condition easily costs double.
