Description

A lovely Triumph TR4 in good drivers condition. Originally delivered new in the USA and traded in by its sole Dutch owner.

The exterior looks in very good condition; the car has been repainted in the stunning TR4 colour ‘Signal Red’ and the paintwork has a deep shine. There are a few signs of wear. The rugged alloy wheels are painted black and feature a chrome centre cap as a lovely accent. The soft top has recently been replaced and fits perfectly.

The interior is well maintained, the dashboard looks smart and all the gauges are working as they should. The seats have been reupholstered with black faux leather in the past. The classic wooden steering wheel looks great and feels comfortable to hold.

And this TR4 starts on the button and drives great. The following have recently been replaced: water pump, electric fuel pump including the fuel line, battery, brake hoses, master brake cylinder and new mats. The engine mounts have just been replaced and the TR4 will be delivered on new tyres. The engine has plenty of power and healthy oil pressure. We’ve just measured the compression, which is above average. The gearbox shifts perfectly and runs very quietly, as does the differential.
